DAY 097 – Pressure Bursts Pipes or Makes Diamonds
In my line of work there are constant deadlines, milestones, and key metrics that must be met. The projects exist across multiple industries and channels that do not necessarily intersect. There could be 8 projects from 8 different customers with 8 different target audiences to reach. The pressure of working to keep everyone happy with their progress and results is heavy. For just over 7 years, I’ve been a single father and believe me it’s just as hard for us men. I have two young men (one living on his own now and one in high school.) I’m motivated and determined to make diamonds. I accept the pressure with a smile. It took me a while to learn that I can’t always make everyone happy, but I’m still the type of man that will give it my all just to try. Pressure either bursts pipes or makes diamonds.
