2025 Week 07 – Growing Up Can Be Hard

Coming of age is one of the most difficult things in life that we all must face. As a youth, I remember feeling so small, like I didn’t matter and like no one cared about me. And there was never enough money. Even with early jobs and side hustles as a kid, the money seemed to never be enough. I struggled to fit in and eventually gave up and withdrew to my own isolated world.

2025 Week 02 – Sometimes Your Support Is All That Is Needed

Rewind to about 2 years ago and I was looking for land. I fell in love with a spot that overlooked north Georgia and came with a building with large bay doors on it. But I soon forgot about it. It wasn’t the right time for me. Fast forward to my cousins inviting me out to their Pretty Boi Farms event to document with film and photography (and eat good too!). I drove up a long mountain road to discover the very same property that I had looked at years ago.

2025 Week 01 – Remembering Granddaddy Elder Emmitt Robinson, Sr.

My granddaddy was a pastor. Before he transitioned, I promised him that I would convert his old sermons into digital media. It has taken me well over 10years to actually start the process, and it just so happens to be the first day of 2025.
