Four kids sat in our film studio at @RockwellNo8 to shoot their first ever podcast. I had no idea if they were capable of holding a 20min conversation or not. We didn’t know if the parents would be in the room or not. They paused when I said, “Quiet on set ….ACTION!”. Then they jumped right into conversation

2025 Week 05 Learning to Accept Peace

Let's be honest, family is a big deal. Whether we like it or not, it shapes who we are and how we see the world. I’m hopelessly optimistic when it comes to my family. We struggle, have disagreements, and don’t see eye to eye on many things just like any other family. But when a cry for help goes out, there is always someone ready to act.

2025 Week 04 – Small Tasks Manifest Large Complex Dreams

We named the building “Rockwell No. 8” out of our partnership with legendary B-Girl Honey Rockwell and her Rockwell Dance Academy. My brothers, some good friends and I did the remodel ourselves. It seems like it was just yesterday that we were moving the furniture in our dining and living rooms to create film studio sets in my house.

2025 Week 03 – Seeing is Believing

I have a vision board in my mind. It follows me daily and collects dreams and desires as I travel through life. We taught the kids to dream one summer at @uncleArtCamp and had them make their physical vision boards. Watching them sort through their hopes and aspirations inspired me.

2025 Week 01 – Remembering Granddaddy Elder Emmitt Robinson, Sr.

My granddaddy was a pastor. Before he transitioned, I promised him that I would convert his old sermons into digital media. It has taken me well over 10years to actually start the process, and it just so happens to be the first day of 2025.
