Day 008 - Silence is my SuperPower
I grew up the shy kid rarely speaking unless spoken to first. I always thought that I was shy and antisocial. But as I started to meet friends with shared interest and other like minded people, I found comfort in talking and building with them. I learned early in life that Roaring lions kill no game. Sitting in meetings observing was viewed as a lack of engagement, but I would watch as others would ask questions and make comments almost like a performance in order to meet a requirement of some sort. It is the same with social media now. The world is filled with roaring lions. I'm choosing to remain quiet and reserved. I speak, act, and make moves when the time is right. I allow my silence to be my superpower.
