Day 016 - All Dreams Begin with a Dreamer
I’ve always been a quiet thinker. I’ve accomplished most of the things I’ve imagined or dreamed to do in life. I understand that I am a dreamer. I am ok with my imagination running wild and on more than a few occasions, I envision myself doing the impossible. I am a dreamer after all and, “All dreams begin with a dreamer.” One of the things my business partners and I always discuss is execution. A dream without any execution is never truly realized. I spend extra time each day making sure that I assign action items to the pursuit of my dreams. Though some may roll over from day to day, this method assures that there is always at least, some forward progress. I’m no longer embarrassed about drifting off into deep thought about God knows what a few times a day. Coming from where I have come from, there was no other way to see my way out. I mean, I didn’t see an ocean in person until I was almost 30yrs old. Prior to that I had saw the ocean on TV or in magazines and painted the ocean in art works only. But I would dream about being on a beach, sketch book in hand, with my bare feet in the cool sand and water. I saw it so vividly and clear that when I ended up in Naples, Florida with all the above happening just as I had dreamed, I could only smile. All dreams do indeed begin with a dreamer.
