DAY 043 True Value Never Leaves
The moment I tried to assign a dollar amount to my value, I messed up my perception of myself. The amount of money we make rises and falls as much as stocks or bitcoin these days. Things break and need repairs all while health ebbs and flows and this takes away from the amount we make. So, by default our value goes up and down based on factors we don’t often control. There was a moment when I fully understood the flaw. A moment of depression. A time when I didn’t fully believe in myself. Then almost immediately, I realized that no job or individual could remove the years of life experience nor education nor accumulated work experience I have. My true value never leaves. It is as much a part of me as my heart is. Whether it is recognized and promoted publicly or not, it remains. It stays embedded with whoever we truly are like a serial number orchestrated and given by the universe.
