DAY 084 – You Can’t Escape Yourself
The pandemic allowed many of us the time to deal with ourselves with limited distractions. I enjoyed the time I had. I learned key things about myself and dove into new-found passions. I built an unscripted digital TV network at 8robinsons.com and now have well over 24hrs of streaming content. It was important for me to use that time wisely. No matter how far you travel, you can never escape yourself. So I invested my time and resources into myself. I never imagined I would have accomplished these things. I’m amazed that I’m driven to release new content weekly while actively seeking and planning new unscripted shows. This is all done in my spare time on weekends. We do social media posts and advertising throughout the week. My nieces are producers and videographers, and my nephew produces original music. My son designed show logos and branding. It is truly a family affair and it started with me having to spend way too much time alone. It seems funny now that the threat of loneliness pushed me into the world of digital television, but there you go. We can’t escape ourselves.
