The best revenge I have ever executed was and continues to be forgiveness. There is a special power that comes with letting things go. We open ourselves back up to life’s blessings. We empty the nasty from our souls and make room for all the good that the universe has to offer. A gift so powerful comes at no small cost. Forgiveness is hard. It eats away at the core of our beings while holding on to us like some alien virus. Yet the actual act of forgiving is as simple as thinking “I forgive you.” No spoken words are actually required.
