If quitting is always the result of incredibly challenging problems, how can anyone ever get the rewards of their effort. It seems unfair that reward lies so far on the other side of effort and yes, I’ve quit some things in my life. However, I was raised to never quit. I had asthma growing up and finished a whole little league football season because I didn’t want to quit. It meant I spent the majority of games sitting on the bench. If I couldn’t practice, I would still attend and help wherever I could on the field. A brotherhood that still exists was formed during those years.

To fight for something is as human as our need to breathe. People fight for relationships, jobs, pets, and even their ideals (wrong or right). We even get caught up in the fights of others, sometimes before we even understand the reasons. I’ve been spending more and more time, fighting for the things “I” love. I’ve been putting in the work. Building key family brands and helping organizations tell their stories visually is my passion.

The quickest way to see further is to ask someone that has been there. I could read a book and get a deeper vision that you could imagine. Where I come from, it’s easy to feel limited as if life has nothing to offer. Over time people embraced the feeling and even named places “the trap”. Then years later “Trap” music is introduced. Imagine an entire culture born around the concept of staying in place and protecting that place so viciously that outsiders are scared to enter. Feeling trapped is a trap within itself. I know the sensation of not having options. It is an illusion of the mind. It is a projection painted by those around you in the same predicaments.
