Never put your all into trying to be like someone else. When you do, you limit yourself to that person’s standards. You instantly take on characteristics that are not your own and you lose a large part of what makes you unique. It was easier for me to be unique as a young person.

I attended the With P.A.S.S.I.O.N. virtual workshop with Lincoln Kokaram and got so many gems that I will be sharing. They were good reminders of lessons once taught. One that particularly stood out was that “we have two ears and one mouth, so we should listen twice as much as we speak.” I remember as a child, I would be playing or watching tv and my parents would tell me to go get something from another room.
